NakedSword Names Chris Porter Social Media Manager

SAN FRANCISCO — NakedSword has added gay performer Chris Porter to its full time staff as social media manager.

Porter will now work behind the scenes to enhance NakedSword’s presence in the world of social networking. Porter will also serve as a coordinating producer on a variety of projects, including “The Tim & Roma Show” and his own upcoming reality show.

The reality project will explore the real lives of a group of real gay porn stars living in San Francisco. Porter’s management of the NakedSword Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Tumblr pages will help to bring even more awareness to the gay porn membership site, the company said.

“We knew we needed someone who appreciated the efficacy of social media in today’s world of online marketing,” NakedSword CEO Tim Valenti said. “And so it was a no-brainer to have Chris Porter be that person. Not only is he savvy at using already-existing platforms, he’s always thinking one step ahead and bringing fresh ideas into the mix.”

Porter will be working both in front and behind the camera exclusively for NakedSword.

“Obviously, no company in any industry can ignore social marketing,” Porter said. “Fans and consumers rely on being able to connect with the businesses or the personalities they’re following online, but they don't just want some robot trying to sell them something. That’s why I’m really excited to bring that personal touch to fans and members of NakedSword.

“I love being able to share my ideas and interact with people, so coming onboard in this role was the perfect move and I’m so grateful for the opportunity.”
